Dunluce Castle/ Irlanda do Norte - Northern Ireland

Dunluce Castle standing remains date around 1500, when the site was established by the MascQuillans. Center of power for their Gaelic lordship, in the mid 1550s, the MacQuillans lost their Castle and power to the MacDonells, a family descendent from the Scottish Clan MacDonald.
Tales tell about Maeve, tone of the ladies of the castle sho tried to run away with her lover, but was defeated by the angry sea. Since then, we "can listen her Banshee crying for her life in the huge mermaid caves beneath the fortress .
